Remote support
Let us help on your computer
Download Choice Remote Support and our technician can see your screen and fix the problem with you, without a trip to your office.
Only use this while you're on the phone with us
Choice Technologies will never call you out of the blue and ask you to install anything. If someone calls, texts, or shows a pop-up telling you to download remote support software, hang up and call us at 860-787-8521.

How it works
Call us first
We'll tell you when to download. Nothing happens until you start it.
Open the app
There's nothing to install. Run the file you downloaded.
Read us your ID
The window shows an ID and a one-time password. Read both to your technician.
Close it when done
Closing the window ends the session. We can't reconnect without a new password from you.
What to expect
On Windows
- Windows may ask whether to let the app make changes. Choose Yes.
- The publisher shown will be Purslane. Choice Remote Support is built on RustDesk, and Purslane is the company behind RustDesk. That's expected.
- Now and then antivirus software flags remote support tools. If yours does, tell your technician before you do anything else.
On a Mac
- Open the downloaded file, then double-click Choice-Remote-Quick-Mac-Support. Choose Open when your Mac asks if you're sure.
- Your Mac will ask to allow Screen Recording and Accessibility. Turn both on in System Settings, under Privacy & Security, then reopen the app. Without them we'll see a black screen.
- The app doesn't put an icon in the Dock. If the window disappears behind something, look for it in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
For IT staff: check the download fingerprint
Each file's SHA-256 fingerprint should match exactly. A mismatch means the file isn't the one we published, so don't run it.
